Mine has to be 12-28-79. Without a doubt. I don't think I have ever listened to a better Sugaree, Row Jimmy. The Playn'>Drumz is extremely HOT!!! I used to think that Jimmy was lame but this is Jimmy Row 2.0 Ultra Edition. From start to finish this show never slows down....Plus the recording is excelent. Funny to see such a GREAT SHOW with no Scarlet>Fire, Estimated, Eyes, Help>Slip>Frank, Dark Star, The Other One, Lost>Saint, Let it Grow...and so on. Not too bad guys, not too bad.

Yeah....4/5/71 is the show I have heard the most. It was in the 1st batch of tapes I ever received and of those, it was my favorite.

Always liked the China>Rider, Big Boss Man, GDTRFB>NFA is one of the top versions....imo. Of course, this show and I have traveled many miles together....it's a friend indeed.

Had to think about it for a while, but I think (and this might be an oddball choice) Buckeye Lake 1993 is the one I've heard the most often. I got the tape within days of the show happening and wore it out, before downloading and burning the show years later. It has the excellent Jack Straw>Foolish Heart opener.

11/24/78 Capitol Theater

Hardly the best night the Dead ever had, but this was the first Dead boot tape I ever owned and remains a sentimental favorite.

8/13/75 - it was one of the first tapes I got that the sound was so damn good (because of the FM broadcast) and I played the hell out of it. Haven't listened to it in awhile, but that's probably because one day I'll break down and buy One from the Vault (or wait for the 1-5 box set; they're 3/5 of the way thru after how many years?)

I'm with ya on this one. EOTW, China Doll, TLEO 2nd ever performances. I love the whole show, and this DS is #3 if not #2 fav performance.

Is that a DP? I don't see it in any of the usual places. Haven't checked speeding arrow for the mp3 version? Was hoping I wouldn't have to!!

Its because the show never happened on that date. Personally, I have never heard of it and then I checked into it at deadbase and its no where to be found.

He must have a mislabeled tape or it's s typo. But he does say specifically the Solstice so, I have no idea. There's not even a show around it. Must be the wrong year he has posted.

I think he's checkin to see if we are paying attention...WE ARE!

No show that day.......

Must be playing a joke. The way his post is written, the odds this was an error are slim! ;)

yellowbear: I can't answer what "show" I've listened to the most, but for individual tunes I can say:

Grateful Dead: "Dark Star" (1973-11-11)

Jerry Band: "Mission in the Rain," "Lonesome and a Long Way from Home," and "Don't Let Go" (from either the '76 "Don't Let Go" cd or the '78 "Warner Theatre" cd), "The Maker" (from "Shining Star" cd) and "Throw Out The Life Line" (taken from a few live shows; courtesy of "ganges")

Jerry & Grisman: basically everything

Jerry with "Legion of Mary:" "Last Train From Poor Valley"

Hunter: "Children's Lament" ("Tales of the Great Rum Runners" cd), "Touch of Darkness" ("Retrospective: Live '82" album), "Franklin's Tower" ("Box of Rain - Live 1990" cd), "Book of Daniel," "Reuben & Cerise," "Box of Rain," "Prodigal Town," and "Terrapin Station Suite" ("Jack O'Roses" cd)

That adds up to be about one show; I hope you don't mind that I improvised on your question, but put those tunes together and that's my show. Sweet post; thanks a lot for asking --- AshesRising

It would be a toss up of either Deer Creek 7-19-90 or Landover 3-16-90.

Neither of these shows need an introduction. If you haven't heard them in a while, give 'em a listen.

Harpur College May 2 1970. The tape was aired on KSAN in the summer of 1971, and someone sent me a copy. I've always had one since. Runners up would be the Felt Forum, Cincinnati, and Winterland 12-31-71 broadcasts.

6.9.77--One of my first bootlegs. Actually, I only had the second set, so I guess I couldn't say I listened to the show more than any other. That set got played to dust though. It might not be my favorite anymore, but it is pretty close to just exactly perfect.
